About the Founder

Param Bhamra is the Founder of GnP Advisory and an active practitioner in the field of alternative dispute resolution, with a focus on arbitration, mediation, and negotiation strategy. His work sits at the intersection of dispute resolution and strategic advisory, with an emphasis on structuring efficient, commercially aligned approaches to conflict.

He is also the Founder of MediateGuru, an international platform with a global presence across more than 120 countries, connecting experienced arbitrators and mediators with emerging professionals in the ADR space. Through this initiative, he has played a key role in expanding access to ADR education, fostering practical learning, and building a global community of dispute resolution practitioners.

Param has extensive experience in designing and executing ADR-focused initiatives, including international mediation and negotiation competitions, arbitration moots, conferences, and training programs. He has worked closely with institutions, practitioners, and students across jurisdictions, contributing to the development of practical skills and structured learning in dispute resolution.

In his professional capacity, he has been involved in international arbitration proceedings, supporting case management, procedural structuring, and drafting across various stages of arbitration. He also serves as an independent arbitrator, having adjudicated numerous financial disputes with a focus on impartiality, procedural integrity, and reasoned decision-making.

He is the author of multiple books on arbitration and mediation, reflecting his engagement with both the practical and academic dimensions of ADR. His work demonstrates a consistent focus on advancing dispute resolution practices and promoting structured, strategy-driven approaches to conflict.

Through GnP Advisory, Param aims to bridge the gap between traditional dispute handling and strategic advisory, enabling organisations to approach disputes with clarity, efficiency, and a forward-looking perspective.
